We need to become better stewards of the open spaces in our community.
To that end, The Recreation Committee is forming a Tuccamirgan Sub Committee.
Tuccamirgan is a ten acre parcel of active open space, located in the Bourough.
The power of nature to restore and sustain the human spirit is well documented
We need interested citizens who are willing to act in a custodial capacity to oversee the well being of this treasured space.
Please consider this request and contact Sal Randazzese if interested. 908 782-9493 or email@example.com.
Sal Randazzese, Park Liason for the Flemington-Raritan Parks and Recreation Committee met with Lowe’s in Raritan Township numerous times this summer to coordinate numerous renovations in Tuccamirgan Park located on Bonnell Street across from St. Magdalen’s. Lowe’s #2552 received recognition and a plaque acknowledging the work their employees did cleaning up Tuccamirgan Park at Tuesday night’s meeting.

Late last summer, employees from Lowe’s spent a week cleaning up, painting, restoring benches and adding many new ones around the Park. The basketball court was resurfaced, the Pavilion was painted and two new grills were installed for families interested in cooking out. Their work made the park a nicer place to visit and take children to play in. The park had been neglected for years before Lowe’s came in to make it a place Flemington residents are proud of.
On behalf of the Flemington-Raritan Parks and Recreation Committee we would like to say thank you to Sal Randazzese, Joe Lloyd and Phil Breese for their joint efforts in making such a big project such a success that many will be able to enjoy for years to come!
